Call for Local Legend Nominations
Submit by April 1st

The AIGA Fellow will also be formally recognized at the AIGA Gala in New York on September 17th, 2009.

Nominations should be based on the criteria established for each award, which is available for review and download at:

• Fellow Award Guidelines
• Local Legend Guidelines

Your nomination should be at least a paragraph in length, and can be submitted by email to the nomination committee chair at nominations@aigastlouis.org . All nominations submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, April 1st will be considered by the committee, which will carefully review each nomination, and submit their recommendations to the AIGA St. Louis board for ratification. Please remember that nominations can only be submitted by members in good standing. Awardees will be announced by email and on the chapter site on or after Friday, April 10th.

You may nominate more than one person for either award. Once submitted, your nominations will be reviewed by the AIGA St. Louis Fellow Award Committee, which is comprised of former AIGA-St. Louis chapter presidents, award recipients and advisory board committee members:

• John Celuch, Inland Design
• Doug Wolfe, ProWolfe Partners
• Gretchen Schisla, Schisla Design Studio, Associate Professor of Graphic Design, University of Missouri-St. Louis
• Cherie Fister, Graphic & Interactive Design Director, Maryville University
• Caren Schlossberg-Wood, Lost Marbles Design, Advisory Board Liaison
• Traci Moore Clay, Traci Moore Graphics, Board President

In the instance that any of the sitting committee members is nominated, that person will resign from committee activity to remain in consideration of an award. The committee may also recommend either the AIGA Fellow or "Local Legend" to be awarded based on the existing criteria for any nominee under consideration for either award.

Posthumous nominations are accepted for the "Local Legends" awards, but may not be considered for AIGA Fellow. Please note that any nominee must be an AIGA member in good standing. Only current AIGA members may submit nominations.
